Grassley's Standards for Failure

Senator Charles Grassley (R-IA) suggests AIG executives should consider the Japanese form of ritual suicide for taking pay while draining the public purse.

By Grassley's standard, the halls of Congress would be empty by nightfall.

Note that the contracts under which AIG was required to pay its employees have been outstanding for nearly a year, available for review by any Senator, Representative or staffer.

Goose, meet gander.
