Labor Union Dumps Labor Day Holiday for Muslim Feast

Labor bosses at the Retail, Wholesale and Department Store Union have negotiated a new contract with Tyson Foods that makes Labor Day just another day on the workday calendar. For members of the union, Labor Day has been replaced by a holiday honoring the Muslim feast Eid al-Fitr, a movable day that falls at the end of Ramadan.

Pretty skookum negotiating there, guys, giving up a summer Monday for (this year) a fall Wednesday.
