Is Barack Obama the Richard Nixon of Our Days?
Senator Obama doesn't accept the efficacy of killing terrorists as they land on the flypaper that is Iraq. He prefers to allow them safe harbor there, while attacking them across the border into Pakistan from our bases in Afghanistan.
There is a word for the latter strategy: incursion.
Incursion, as in Richard Nixon's 13 incursions into Cambodia in the summer of 1970.
Who would have thought? A leading Democratic presidential candidate looks back almost forty years to the foreign policy/war making practices of Richard Nixon to guide his thoughts in our current war.
Is he serious or does he just not care about what he doesn't know?
Can college protests be far away?
